Design, Build And Install
All our vacuum coolers are designed and built for the specific application.
We want to minimise free space around the the produce within the vacuum vessel, so the vessel will be designed around your pallet size.
Hourly produce cooling requirements will decide the total capacity of your vessel – taking into account site layout and electricity supply.
We can design simple manually operated coolers, or highly automated systems.
Twin door vessels (both ends) can facilitate pre-loading of the entry conveyors, and separate exit conveyors – preferably outloading directly into the cold store. However, we can design around an existing site layout.
Refrigeration condensers and vacuum pumps can be remote to the vessel where necessary.
Maintenance And Servicing
We can offer maintenance and servicing of your existing machines.
The conditions required for vacuum coolers to work efficiently are very specific in terms of machine design, vacuum, cycle characteristics and refrigeration capacity. We can monitor the running characteristics and diagnose issues with your cooler. It is often possible to speed up cycle times and reduce energy consumption if the cooler has not been operating correctly.
We also offer a vacuum pump refurbishment service.
F-Gas Certification
The refrigeration system on many of the medium and larger sized vacuum coolers fall into the category which require an annual inspection by an F-Gas registered engineer.
We can offer full system checks and reporting for your certification responsibilities. We often combine this with looking over the whole cooler for the customer.
